Didn't Gligli join Behringer? This must be his effort.

So I guess we now know what GliGli has been up to. If he brings his firmware to the Prophet sound? This is going to be too big for my pants to handle. In fact, I should probably change my underwear now to make room for all of the crapping myself that's about to happen.

Some folks will suffer in agony as they stated this week they will never buy any Behringer gear anymore...

Is it wrong that I like that they're going with the crappy membrane buttons? For nostalgia factor.

Looks like another 80hp module then?

Sweet. I've got plenty of keyboards :-)

The front-mounted MIDI and patch points makes me think you're right.
I was going to say no way it's a module but it clearly is.

it must be what's selling. They should be able to make comparisons between their keybed models and modules. I just hope they continue to do keyboards even if it's not the most profitable venture

Deifying the shortcomings of the past....

Although it's possible that you can do better membrane switches than in the days of yore?

As always, if they don't have a decent midi/control aspect, it won't be heading my way. Though I guess with GliGli on board, it might be worthwhile.

Have to say, I've got a few of their modules already and the front mounted midi really pisses me off! Makes a mess of cabling in the studio.

If it's like all their other models it will have one on the rear too. In fact you can see one on the rear daugherboard in the picture.

the front one has always been for if you place them in a eurorack case because then you lose the rear one

not sure why someone would put a polyphonic synth in a eurorack case... eurorack is almost becoming more of a portability solution now

Err, nope. You're 100% wrong.

All six current modules have front panel Midi Ins only.

Model D, CAT and Wasp have IN/THRU on front only.
Neutron, Pro-1 and K-2 have IN on front, THRU on back only.

Sarcasm doesn't become you.

I didn't mention USB, because it's not the answer for many systems.

Want to show us how you'd daisy chain a few modules using USB midi?

How about the many people with entirely DAWless rigs who aren't using USB at all?

always these 4 step purists, just no daw. I asked my beatstep pro, he took it to the knowledge

a friend of mine has the p600, looks to me like a painted shoe box. now the question of oversized shoe box or classic midi at the front

Yep, I was hoping he'd be tasked with developing his other project, but this has to be his mod integrated into their clone.

This x100. And I hope they allow you to switch between the old and the new Gligli firmware!
