Need help, about Behringer Deepmind 12

Hello,all:

My Deepmind 12 fell off the keyboard stand a few days ago, and now I feel something is wrong. Some sounds seem to have changed, but I'm not sure. unfortunately my DM12 has out of warranty, I can’t return it to the factory for repair. Now I want to ask someone who has this synthesizer to help me record a few pathches. I will compare them with mine to see what I to do next.

The patches I need to help demonstrate are all in BANK D. There are

D8
D21
D22
D39
D42
D59
D80

Each patch only need press Middle C(C4) and hold for few seconds, then you can use any DAW or recording software to record to audio file (mp3 is fine), If you are finished, you can email me the audio file or upload here or upload it to the Youtube. Thank you very much! My email : ahhuic (at) yahoo..com

It is three years, but only if you register within 90 days.

Behringer have never made much effort to make that clear.

You will increase the chance of people helping you if you record these patches, so other owners can hear if they sound different without much effort.

It's complicated, I don't think I can have a three-year warranty. And therre are some obvious signs of falls on the DM12's outside. This is my fault, I do not intend to contact the dealer.

FYI: warranty doesn't apply when you have dropped the device,
which the OP did

It ’s a bit difficult for me to upload the video to youtube. I recorded 3 patches to audio files, they are D8, D21, D80. Each patch has 2 files, suffix 'nokey'means the patch with no keyboard is pressed, 'C4' means the patch after pressing the C4 key. Hope these files are useful.

ps.
This method of recording is a bit cumbersome because I can't email anyone or upload it to youtube by single file. But if someone helps me record a demo, you don't need to use this complex method, you just need to record all patch into single file. This can reduce your work. Thank you.

(I don't have the DM12)
Yes they sound broken to me.
But maybe that was the aim of the factory patch creator guy.

If it is out of warranty, then there is no risk if you CAREFULLY open it and look if there are some loose connections maybe.
What about the calibration procedure ? Already done ?

Hi, thanks for your advice, I have disassembled my DM12, those PCBs look very sturdy, all ribbon cables are securely connected. I have calibrated my DM12 many times, I even tried to flash different versions of firmware(1.03,1.05,1,11,1,12), but it didn't work.

I'm here to say my gratitude to @ daviddever , who professionally record and send me the audio files I needed. After carefully comparing them with my DM12, I believe these patches are totally same, and my DM12 should be fine. I can rest assured.

Thanks again to @ daviddever , @ AndyHornBlower and everyone who paid attention to this topic and gave me suggestions.

This thread kinda answers the question about Behringer's build quality.
