Octatrack mk2 Trigs GONE!

Suddenly, I can no longer place trig conditions, or trigs. I have a sudden dummy box with no editing function possible. I can place a single event in sequence. (I hate this thing)

is this issue on new projects >? are you sure you have not inadvertently changed the grid settings in setup ?

have you gone through the OS checks you are provided with?

you can do this on power up to confirm status , you can go through steps to help you find out where it is at

have you checked with Elektron and set up ticket?

Oh, yeah, it's happening in new projects.
I was able to load previous projects with correct mapping and such, but even on those, I've not been able to pick midi channel active (main screen) I don't know how to turn on the channels, and the "manual" pointless. Literally makes zero point in how to activate the active channel. I'll post a picture with what I mean tomorrow when I have more energy for such hateful things.

I need to cough up the dough for a print copy of the manuals.. (God I HATE computers and their singular screens and the mouse! )

Well the manual is brilliant imo, do they not provide a full bound manual anymore then? Mine came very nicely done

To activate a midi channel you have to press the channel encoder after rotating and selecting the channel number, if you don't press the encoder it just stays deactivated
