That is over-reaching the evidence on the matter:

"Our data suggest that low or moderate alcohol consumption does not influence the risk of hearing loss in older men. A possible relation between vitamin B12 intake, alcohol consumption and hearing loss merits further investigation."

Great to see that my normal-job Red Bull addiction is keeping my hearing in check.

My studio is drinks with lids only right now. For me, its generally vitamin water.

Results

Our results showed that there was a positive association between increasing breath alcohol concentration and the magnitude of the increase in hearing threshold for most hearing frequencies. This was calculated by using the Pearson Regression Coefficient Ratio which was up to 0.6 for hearing at 1000 Hz. Over 90% of subjects had raised auditory thresholds in three or more frequencies; this was more marked in the lower frequencies.
Conclusion

Alcohol specifically blunts lower frequencies affecting the mostly 1000 Hz, which is the most crucial frequency for speech discrimination. In conclusion alcohol does appear to affect auditory thresholds with some frequencies being more affected than others.

not overreaching... here's some links from googling alcohol damages hearing

https://www.hear-it.org/Alcohol-can-cause-hearing-loss
https://www.healthyhearing.com/repor...d-hearing-loss
https://campaignforbetterhearing.ca/...ffect-hearing/
https://www.verywellhealth.com/alcoh...-hearing-62748
https://www.hearingaiddoctors.com/ne...079252143.html
https://www.everydayhearing.com/hear...-hearing-loss/

the last one lists ways alcohol messes with the ear
1. Interferes with your inner ear fluid, compromising your balance
2. Kills off tiny hair cells
3. Damages the brain’s auditory cortex
4. Gives you tinnitus
5. Brings on ‘cocktail party deafness'
ps - had to look up #5 ... it's the ability to focus on a specific sound in a busy environment... here's the wiki explaining it better:
The cocktail party effect is the phenomenon of the brain's ability to focus one's auditory attention (an effect of selective attention in the brain) on a particular stimulus while filtering out a range of other stimuli, as when a partygoer can focus on a single conversation in a noisy room.
pps ~ forgot to mention, i usually just drink water, tho sometimes at a gig or jam i'll have a beer (corona or similar)

This is 'excessive' drinking, basically alcoholism.
Clearly alcoholism isn't good but frankly alcoholics have bigger problems than a bit of hearing loss.

A few drinks now and then, or even regularly but moderately isn't exactly going to destroy your hearing.

Notice . . . absolutely no mention of a relationship between floor cleaner and hearing loss

This is as good of a recommendation as you'll ever see.

No drinks allowed in my home studio except for Coffee Bean ice-blendeds with covers. Once in a while, a Bailey's over ice in a short glass. Favorite drinks in general:

• 2004 Pepsi Edge (discontinued 2006).
• 2012 Pepsi Next with Aspertame (reformulated in 2013).
• 2013 Pepsi Next without Aspertame (discontinued 2015).
• 2019 Zevia (Stevia-only drink which tastes like carbonated piss, but quells my soda-addiction).

I love soda, but need to cut down on my sugar intake. Both Pepsi Edge and Pepsi Next (without Aspertame) were the best-tasting mid-calorie cola drinks ever bought to market. No artificial sweeteners (after 2013 reformulation) other than high-fructose corn syrup—just less of it (50%-60% less sugar).

Pepsi Edge was only sold in convenience stores in Southern California test-markets (i.e., gas stations and 7-11). Excellent cola flavor with no articial sweetener after-taste. Actually preferred drinking Pepsi Edge over regular Pepsi. Coca-Cola also had a competing product in 2004, but it was also quickly discontinued. Coca-Cola's current mid-calorie offering, Coca-Cola Life, tastes even more like piss than Zevia.

When the above aren't available, I drink regular Pepsi from cans or bottles, but from commercial fountains, I prefer Coca-Cola (improved carbonation). McDonald's tends to serve the most consistently bubbly Coca-Cola. Yoshinoya fountain dispensers are often lacking carbonation. Other favorites:

• Jarritos lime soda in bottles—best tasting lime soda ever (product of Mexico, made with cane sugar).
• IBC Root Beer in bottles.
• Izze sparkling juices in bottles.
That's funny you say that about Yoshinoya's drinks, I live in LA too and their drinks are always the worst and has that old wet rag taste. Not only that it seems like whatever Yoshinoya I go to the drink counter is always filthy. It's like it's a requirement for that to stay nasty lol.

As for what I drink in the studio, I like Lagunita's IPA, juice or water or whatever beer I have.

Depends on what genre:
Gabber: 4 Loko
Global Lounge: Mai Tai or Grasshoppers
Soviet Wave: Vodka
Trap: Purple drank
Ambient: mushroom tea
Psy: mushroom tea
Techno: mushroom tea
Jungle: hard cider
Hipster Minimal: craft IPAs

Seriously though red wine or IPAs if I’m not drinking herbal teas.
