No drinks allowed in my home studio except for Coffee Bean ice-blendeds with covers. Once in a while, a Bailey's over ice in a short glass. Favorite drinks in general:

• 2004 Pepsi Edge (discontinued 2006).
• 2012 Pepsi Next with Aspertame (reformulated in 2013).
• 2013 Pepsi Next without Aspertame (discontinued 2015).
• 2019 Zevia (Stevia-only drink which tastes like carbonated piss, but quells my soda-addiction).

I love soda, but need to cut down on my sugar intake. Both Pepsi Edge and Pepsi Next (without Aspertame) were the best-tasting mid-calorie cola drinks ever bought to market. No artificial sweeteners (after 2013 reformulation) other than high-fructose corn syrup—just less of it (50%-60% less sugar).

Pepsi Edge was only sold in convenience stores in Southern California test-markets (i.e., gas stations and 7-11). Excellent cola flavor with no articial sweetener after-taste. Actually preferred drinking Pepsi Edge over regular Pepsi. Coca-Cola also had a competing product in 2004, but it was also quickly discontinued. Coca-Cola's current mid-calorie offering, Coca-Cola Life, tastes even more like piss than Zevia.

When the above aren't available, I drink regular Pepsi from cans or bottles, but from commercial fountains, I prefer Coca-Cola (improved carbonation). McDonald's tends to serve the most consistently bubbly Coca-Cola. Yoshinoya fountain dispensers are often lacking carbonation. Other favorites:

• Jarritos lime soda in bottles—best tasting lime soda ever (product of Mexico, made with cane sugar).
• IBC Root Beer in bottles.
• Izze sparkling juices in bottles.

Drinks not really allowed -- personal containers with tight lids & sparkling water -- that's about it . I have tea when I am mixing alone > on the floor in a weighted bean bag holder ..

Yeah. Stevia is strong stuff. I'm trying to find other flavours to balance it out.

Normally, it's demerera sugar, brown. Coffee (Lavazza); tea; chai tea; water. Home studio.

Have a great day everyone

A Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster followed by a shot of Um Bongo normally does the trick.

But 100% of the other time, a nice cup of PG Tips.

Coffee if it's early. Generally water otherwise.

I cut my drinking down a LOT this year (stopped completely for nearly 6 months). Or it might be a glass or 3 of red wine as well (normally a little French or Italian number). Maybe a nice single malt as winter approaches (plus the odd mulled wine).

Coffee unless it's late in the afternoon, then tea, and of course a glass of water now and then.

I find that for me, mixing alcoholic beverages and production just results in pointless preset surfing and noodling without getting anything useful done. I do drink occasionally but then I just watch a movie or listen to music instead. When I drink it's usually a couple of Hefeweizen, Imperial Stout or Märzen.

One of my other hobbies is tea, Chinese tea to be exact. Puerh and oolongs usually. I caught the bug when I left my ex girlfriends and had to move out quickly and stayed at my parents for a year. I was still earning but not paying rent, so I saved, bought synths and liked tea, one day I wondered what it would be like if I tried the most expensive I could find (£60/100g) , to see if there was anything in it, and it spiralled from there

Now I have two fridges humidity controlled and aging puerh

Good tea can taste like fruit and flowers and leave an aftertaste for hours, plus you can reseteep it for 10-20 times

It's really a different drink to the cheap stuff

Coffee with dash of cinnammon and cardamomum.
Rooibos is also amazing!
And water is brilliant!

In jams I sometimes like to become a bit intoxicated, and I tend to get there with beer and cider, but would prefer good whisky, if it wasn’t so expensive here.
