after watching the 40 minute perfect circuit video on oscillators / mutators it became clear that hydrasynth is capable of producing typical synth sounds as well as very very harsh sounds.

i feel like people rush to review new stuff.. and rarely does initial demos excite me. except for the wavestate with those one note OST patches

I think the conversion of keyboard velocity is not good balanced between black and white keys (this is a very old problem).
A synth keyboard is always a compromise and not grand piano.
I have to compare it to other synths.

Second: Sometimes there are distorted artifacts before AT sets in.
It's not well reproducible but sometimes I hear it very clearly.

Are there any comments or experiences from others about these topics?

best regards

anyone else having problems with the mod matrix. Whenever I try and select source or destination with the control knob, it only lets me select the next one in the list before the knob starts to control the depth field?

It's a known bug. Do the factory reset and it'll fix it.

Sadly due to the global pandemic there are so few HydraSynths in the wild.

I luckily was able to find a Bstock unit by chance and purchased it before lockdown occurred.

The Hydrasynth is incredible. The poly after touch on the keyboard version is fabulous. Sounds and effects are wonderful and offer lots of varied tone construction ability. The Hydrasynth is a steal for the price and all the features.

I hope the world gets back to normal soon , people get healed, and that ASM is able to get more Hydrasynths into the world. The world needs good health, healing and music right now.

I haven't had a chance to play through the patches yet...
