S.E. SE-1X RAM sound banks scrambled

Seem to have done something to my RaM soundbanks so was hoping someone could send me the sysex/mid files so that I could re dump them again?

Kind regards

first, i would look at the battery, and check if its output voltage is still up to spec after all these years.

also i am sure SE will send you a sysex with factory presets if you ask them nicely.

cheers

I don’t see the link to the se-1X just the S.E.-1 and I don’t know if they are different?

Ask better directly at the company https://www.studioelectronics.com/support/contact/

I also asked them very very nicely many times over the years and never got a response. maybe you'll have more luck.

I can send you BANK 6. Bank 5 is also scrambled on mine, which is my fault as I fiddled around with a sounddiver adaption for the SE-1 (no X). Don't do that! This is a very SYSEX-sensitive synth

Attached is Bank 6 from my SE-1X System 0.91.

I think the RedEyes, other models.. have different presets, would also love to have them.

when i bought it second hand around 14 years ago, it already was on this version, sorry

And i read about lots of problems & bricked synths after trying to do an update on a SE-1Xs. As I wrote, they are very sensitive

Let me use this SE-1X moment for one of my lifelong quests

I'm looking for the sysex implementation, to build myself an hands-on oscillator-mixer-controller for this beast. SE? no reply.

The CC way works, but is not saved in the preset then ....

Yea Ive had that scramble happen and for me it was related to the battery. Great idea on the OSC mixer control. that is the one thing I kind of hate about the SE1, osc mixers are in the menu too far imo.

Ok so whipped it open to look what battery it is, so for future reference

The battery in my unit is:

BR2330

Note the br rather then cr abbreviation

Here’s some info I found on the differences
