I might be wrong, but I don't think Rob had all the modules done. Maybe some are rebranding, but not all.

Something similar happened to the Oddy last year. Suddenly they were available in the shops.
They are filling the gap with digital and so all products are on standby.
Next will be:

Bubbleton
Bro Tools
Studio Bone

I'd just be content with more demo videos. I plan on buying two 2600's but I'm fine being patient. I wish Behringer would just make more 2600 exploration vids.

I really liked to listen to Rob Keeble, he really seems like a nice guy and very knowledgeable.

Yeah, maybe if the 2600 is super popular they'll bring him back for more projects.

Pretty sure Rob already designed an EMS Synthi clone for Behringer before he moved on.

Edit: And he designed these beauties: BEHRINGER 2500 SERIES

Here for the gear

Many synths later.

Hi,

In 2017 I wrote in a thread here at Gearslutz about Uli Behringers visions and all the synth’s he planned for the future. There was so many haters and even I got a bunch of crap from them.

That was when he was going to build the Model D. No one knew how the future would look.
Bright said Uli.

And now 2020 there is The WASP, K-2, Model D, Neutron, odyssey, Crave, RD-8, MS-1, Pro-1, CAT, Poly D, VC340, RD-6, TD3, System 55, System 100, soon ARP2600, ARP2500 modules, MonoPoly, PPG, UBX-A.....

All these synths, drum machines in a few years. Many of them bestsellers.

For me that can’t buy a vintage System 100, ARP2600/2500 it’s bloody perfect. And I think many many agree.
But still there are haters. But thay are just not so loud any longer.

Thank you Uli Behringer for giving us all these synthesizers! When Uli predicts the future I belive in him and not the haters.

It is just as well that we finally got GS moderators to ban all company bashing, it has been such a waste of time!

Do we know the price yet? Curious how this will be priced compaired to the Odyssey. Enclosure + keys should be more expensive.

I'd say they will do this for about the Poly D price, 699 or 799, but who knows? The Odyssey is incredibly priced, real bargain.

and so will a lot of people when they hit the shelves.

i will give it a year before i get one, i am never an early adopter, firmware and mainboard updates and changes to sort out any teething troubles then i will get one but i will be watching its progress with great interest

you never know, they may even do some grey faceplate models @ Uli Behringer , are you listening? or just sell faceplates as so people can fit them themselves
