As long as you don't mind using cv control instead of midi if there are any problems.

Firmware will only affect the digital end so bypassing that should make it irrelevant.

Buy some with the money you saved on the cost of the mini

Get some stacker cables is my advice too, I got one of those spider things a few years ago, great addition for patching.

It bloody well better/should be but I didn't hear any in the behringer demo a week or so ago

Maybe they dialled it out , saying all this I won't go with anything I hear on YT really, need to use it myself

With my 4500.- Euro Two Voice came 3 patchcables. So 2 is kinda generous for 300.-

Sounds like some noise is there on the old filter and the new one is clean.
