What Synths, Samplers and Drum Machines should Behringer make?

With all the vintage synths, drum machines and samplers that Behringer has been acquiring lately, it's perhaps time for a new poll.

So, what synths, samplers, drum machines and sequencers would you like for Behringer to make?

What would be nice is a Behringer T.O.N.T.O.
Thank you!

Failing that, a Synthi.
Always wanted a Prophet 5 too.

A collaboration with Aly James Lab to make a hybrid old school drum machine featuring DMX, Linndrum etc, like a hardware V-Prom that covers more than one machine.

A 707/727 RD-7X7 styled sample based drum machine that can load/edit user samples too.

Beyond Jupiter 8 or Beyond JX3P style poly like Deepmind is to the Juno-106.

Oberhiem SEM module clone.

Sony Dre-2000 Reverb clone, obviously much smaller.

SVC-350 Vocoder clone

Publison Infernal Machine clone

Not that I've got the funds or room for them though...but that's the gear I'd be interested in.

I voted for the 303, but I really think they should come up with something totally new and innovative. No more emulations and no more analog mono synths.

Isn’t there already a thread for this?

I’m starting to think maybe Behringer should stop cloning old synths, for the sole reason that I’m getting tired of endless Behringer threads on this forum.

How about synths that apart from their core sound,..are beautiful to look at and have generous ergonomics, the SH5 is a perfect example of something that's elegant and practical, with it's knob laden front panel facing you from your upright position, so you don't have to lurch your neck over at yet another flat black box on the desk.

Please think about users more, put outputs on the top at back like original SH101, label them clearly with white fonts not tiny black moulded writing on black casing. Korg MS20 is yet another beautiful synth in this regards..

I wonder what the average lead time for a new Synth is for Behringer?
From conception, thru development, production and eventually release.

Understand every Synth's challenges are unique - it would be interesting to see Uli's take on it and what his goals would be.

For certain I would buy:
Opus-3
303

and one of:
Polykobol
Chroma
Trident

whichever was available and sounded right.

Most likely I would buy:
EMS
PS-3300
2600
MS-20
if a full-functioned modern module

If none of those came out, but a good sounding:
Jupiter-8
CS-80
other stringer
(besides VC and Opus)
Russian or Italian synth
got an homage, I'd probably end up getting one. I mean, it really depends on what's available, or seems likely to be available. But the synths in the first paragraph above, I'd want regardless of whatever else was for sale. There are others I'd buy, of course - the ones I mentioned are merely the ones I'd prefer. Some synths in the poll, I don't yet know enough about, to know if I'd be interested.

For any poly recreation especially, I'd expect it to be a little smaller and lighter due to modern design and manufacturing techniques. For any of the vintage inspired synths, I wouldn't mind a bit of common sense functionality enhancement, to bring them up to date, and add value, so to speak.

If they did a more size friendly but sonically accurate Jupiter 8 and CS80 I would literally **** my pants.

The RMI Keyboard computer/Harmonic synthesizer would be interesting, primarily because they are synths that no one else would hink of recreating, partialy because not many synth legends used them with JMJ being the most prolific user, plus they look weird and that's important.

Hmmm, where is the Roland Jupiter-4? Or the Roland SH-5? (I still have a feeling they did not buy that for cloning reasons).

As I've posted before

Bring on Synth Strings!

It's about time. They haven't been properly available on a physical instrument for ages, while lead synths are getting oversaturated these days

If Behringer clone the MS-20 they should include both filter revisions and (if they're listening) don't go to the MS-20 Mini or Reissues for inspiration. Go back to the originals. I'm curious what a Behringer one might sound like compared to the Mini. Make it track both CV standards too. PWM is obviously a needed feature too.

I've found that my MS-20 Mini's envelopes are not very snappy at all, if I want my MS-20 to really snap I have to control the VCA from something else like my Moog Grandmother. The MS-20 sounds amazing when it can really punch like that.

Someone mentioned that Behringer are working on a eurorack version of a famous modular synth, and I wonder if they meant semi-modular and if that could possibly be the MS-20 or 2600.
