Sounds like a subtractive monosynth. Any Buchla-esque stuff with an oscillator/lowpassgate/sequencer for under $200?

Volca Drum seems like it could be interesting, but all the demos of it so far are terrible. Hopefully loopop or somebody who isn't just randomly turning knobs will get his hands on one and demo it.

Totally different sound (the Nanozwerg is just a traditional subtractive synth) and the Nanozwerg is a eurorack module instead of a standalone box with sequencer etc. What a weird comparison.

Why the hell did MFB make the Dominion Club without CV/Gate input?

Similar price
Both semi-modular
Both cv/gate (wtf)

One sounds like the other 850 synths I own.

Gonna look at what the two Volcas (Drum and Modular) can offer and probably skip the xD Minilogue.

What I like about the Volcas is that you get a reasonable bunch of functionality for a very decent price. Speaking as someone who started out with no hardware at all, they introduced me to various sorts of sound synthesis and it looks like these newborns will continue to do that. Wow!

i'd still like to see another one with patch memories, along lines of
Poly800/EX8000 etc.
