Ensoniq ZR-76 Programming: Need Help

Hi all,

Anyone with any experience programming sounds for Ensoniq ZR-76?

I've been using Midiquest, with some good luck, but there is one annoying problem that I can't figure out.

The ZR-76 keeps automatically saving all of the patches in its Flash bank every time I make a change in Midiquest. This takes a bunch of time and interrupts the whole process. Is there a way to turn this off?

I know there is also a RAM bank in the ZR, but I can't seem to make Midiquest talk to it, it keeps wanting to interact with the Flash bank. Is there a way to make Midiquest operate on the ZR-76's RAM?

It's a strange editing system on the ZR, it doesn't seem to behave the way most other synths do with a edit buffer/compare button etc.

Other than that, nice sounding board. I'm sure some great sounds can be programmed into it. Any help would be much appreciated.

have you by chance asked MidiQuest? I know with SoundDiver the guy behind it would answer questions via the forum.
