They said a few months ago that they will isuue a simplified version of the murmux v2, so perhaps this is it?

I know they were talking about discontinuing the Hades bass synth so it could be some midpoint between both.

Would love to see Roland or Korg collaborate with this group to create a nice poly analog. As it is, I'll be following this as I like all the synths that Dreadbox makes and have had a crush on Medusa since "Clash of the Titans" got me interested in Greek mythology.

I saw that myself, but I'm really curious what that means exactly. They use the Crazy Tube reverb in the Nyx, so this could be pretty sweet if integrated in to the Medusa.

Actually, overdrive was also on the Murmux V2 and also on the Abyss

Maybe an updated hades. Afaik it was quite successful especially as it was priced so low

Well this was unexpected. I always thought my Erebus could use a partner but I have had a tough time coming around to getting a Nyx or Hades.

Maybe it's about a polyphonic synth with 2 or 3 vcos based on the Abyss..

I bet you're right. Polyend may be developing a sequencer for it.

Pretty straight-forward mono synth, nice set of controls, love the fact that it has a simple sequencer and no FX (most of us have plenty of those hanging around). Also very affordable...

Wonder how their new 12dB filter sounds like..

'thick' dial on the filter... would that be some kind of pre-filter drive I suppose?

Looks like a lot of fun to use. Love that their synths come with FX, so a bit bummed this one doesn't. So many awesome monosynths on the market (and coming to market), so little time (space and money) for them all.

The ones that interest me, just on the top of my head Okay, includes some paraphonic.
