Nice! I'm in Canada, so the cheapest I could find was still at B&H - Rakuten doesn't have it on a non-US site... :-( JamStands Rolling Rack - JS-SRR100

Hey StepLogik,
What kind of rack/stand are you using to support those wire shelves? Thanks!

One solution that is both cheap and very elegant is this IKEA picture ledge.
It works very good for the tabletop form factors and works very well with deeper units up to 15 cm in metrics.
You can have them directly on a table side by side or have two side by side and one directly above it slihgtly elevated etc.

Or the other solution that is cheap and elegant is also from IKEA this you can configure pretty broadly.

MOSSLANDA Picture ledge - 21 3/4 " - IKEA

EKBY VALTER Bracket - birch, 7 1/8 " - IKEA

LANSA Handle - 25 3/8 " - IKEA

This is a great thread. Wondering if any of you might have experience custom-mounting a Prophet '08 under a desk without a ton of clearance in width?

This is my issue:

Where I'm mounting it
Prophet '08

As you can see, the width of the synth leaves only about 7/8" clearance on either side before the width of the tray + rails hits the desk leg/hardware (on the right side is hardware for a hand crank, it's a sit/stand desk).

I'm planning on cutting a red oak board to fit the synth, roughly 35 1/2 to 36" wide. But my problem is that nearly all of the heavy duty keyboard slides/rails I've seen online seem to use mounting brackets that face outward, leaving less than I need in width between the rails.

Here's what I'm talking about:

Rails

With the rails attached to the sides of the board, the mounting brackets will flare out and won't fit under there between the left leg and the hand crank assembly.

Any ideas?

Hey I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to say thanks for the Jasper idea with the closet shelves. I got them and painted them black and it's an awesome setup!

everything's hidden:

previous all-VA live/jam rig:

current rig:

bigger desktop stuff resides in the closet. this setup features a guest from its dark bowels:

the bottom line: proper desk & sliding shelves rock.

This range Platsa at ikea is looking very good. Iโ€™m loving all the metal storage stuff at ikea these days too.

Wouldn't the angle of the inclined ones be somewhat steep? I don't think it's adjustable.

more ideas here: https://www.ikeahackers.net/2017/06/...rkstation.html

Mostly for modular stuff though, won't work with my new 88-key keyboard though.

I wonder if there's a keyboard with 88 MINI keys.... ;-)
