Do you know where I can get a new drive for mine? I used to see someone selling them on eBay but haven't seen them available of late.

Used by my favorite groups Depeche Mode, Human League , New Order or in the soundtrack Terminator II....

I have recorded a small demo with some famous sounds:

Merry Christmas!
That vocal/vocoder preset sound at 5:11, i wonder if that's the same as New Order - Fine Time? https://youtu.be/MYwNLlTt3AQ?t=2m43s

The EII is just awsome. I admit I have two of them. Both fitted with the HXC floppy emulator, that hold SD Cards with the COMPLETE libraries that were available.
Are you all aware of the demo tracks that came out on vinyl back in the days? Amazing tracks, especially the first one.

They're not *that* large. Well, ok, something like 30 kg does make quite a physical impression I guess!

Get an Oberheim DPX1, you can hide it in the rack.

True. But - you cannot sample with it. Nor tweak any parameters (except global filter cutoff and pitch / transpose).
It's perfect for just playing back EII sounds / banks.

Another thing - in your review you post some sound clips (which I think you made on your own). Can you tell me which bank you used for the "Orchestral" clip? Did you use one bank, or did you multitrack several banks/presets?

Thanks in advance,
Elm.

Dankeschön und liebe Grüsse zurück.

I used in this demo different banks. Unfortunately I have no idea what was the name. I have so many samples and self-programmed sounds. yes this is multi-track.
