Got my Polivoks. Now I am waiting for Altair 231 to arrive, and then I shall reorganize my studio, so it can be centered around the Sovjets. Meanwhile, I will introduce you to my new custom modification of my already customized minimicrokorg. Now it is BLACK! And no, no paint job, just black isolation tape. Guess you won't find a much cheaper mod Now it looks great together with my Polivoks



BTW: I have noticed that the minimicrokorg is way better at emulating old crispy phased stringers due to its aliasing VA than my Deepmind 6 with its clean DCO Great, just great.

It's the stuff guitar amps are wrapped in. Sort of a vinyl skin.

You can apply some contact cement to the tolex and the surface, wait for it to get tacky (or use a heat gun to speed that up), then join them together.

You should get yourself some snake oil for that. I have some I can sell you if you're interested.

Got the idea seeing folks make extensions panels for some rackmount synths. Thought, what better way to present the Poly D's many CV connections, but right up on my Modular too!

Plus two channels left over for future malicious delving into the Poly D itself. Perhaps the EG outputs, or the Modulation output, and some other input... time will tell.

All the Behringer pots have been replaced on the modular. And only the critical ones on the Poly; EG's, Filter, and OSC tuning.

Long time reader, first time poster. This is by far my favorite thread on GS and I've slowly been reading through the last few hundred pages over the last couple of weeks. So much inspiration and good ideas posted throughout. Walked in to some nice lighting in my studio this morning so i thought I'd take some pics for the thread. It's not much compared to a lot of whats posted in here, but i do make use of everything i have and love all of it(with the exception of my monitors lol).
