Official AKAI Sample Library

I used to have all of the official sound library disks for the AKAI S01 Sampler but they were stolen.

I loved them. Does anyone else have them?

What's the deal with all the old sounds now?

Are they fair game to share and distribute? I've got an old Akai Z4 and wouldn't mind turning it in to a bit of a ROMpler, as it barely gets used.

Filling it with all the old sounds would be great.

Disks were stolen, but not the Akai itself?

I had all of the official S01 sound library disks produced by Akai. There were dozens of disks. The sounds were brilliant. Sadly, they were taken years ago.

I am surprised that those official Akai sound library sounds don't seem to be available to download.

There is one sound in particular that I can best describe as an orchestral stab type of sound.

Can any help?

I have Akai S3000XL factory library on 4 CD-ROMs. I don't think that's the one for S01.

Will you upload disk images for the CDs?

that post is over a year old so good luck. if you want to know i think that ableton live 8 was able to load and play akai s series sounds which was quite remarkable, live 9 doesn't any more but i think there were a few guys at the ableton forum who had akai s series samples on cds or the files.

good luck.
