Anyone selling Premier Signia drums?

I'm looking to complete a kit I've had for years. I need an 8x12 Signia tom in the natural blonde maple finish (I've seen it called Honey Amber too). Anyone have any leads on one?

BTW.. the standard size for these would be 9x12, not 8x12. Not sure if they made an 8x12 at all. (or did they - and it's rare and that's why I'm unfamiliar with it?)

I have 8x10, 9x12.

Yeah, it would have been a rare size as an 8x12. I have an 8x8, 8x10, and 14x15. Just looking for that golden goose of an 8x12.

Just out of curiosity, is your 9x12 for sale?

Heck no! My Signias will likely never see the sale block.

Good luck man, I have a set of Signias in that finish, and they record beautifully. Oh, and they are not for sale, (sorry about that
).

Mine is in storage in Philadelphia. I'll be there Sunday Monday. Do you want the one tom, or the whole kit?

When I was touring full time back in the day, I actually had an endorsement deal with Premier. If only I had thought to have them custom-build me an 8x12 tom back then!!! D'oh!!!

Thanks, but as my original post states, I'm looking for the drum in a particular finish. The blonde maple finish that matches my kit is what I'm interested in.

The 12x8" tom was not all that rare of a size. I know Premier made standard size toms in the later years of the Signia. I think it was just the first year when they had "power tom" sizes only. To my knowledge, the only 12" sizes they ever made were a 12x10" power tom and a 12x8" standard tom. Most likely the guy saying he had a 12x9" wasn't measuring right. See this website for more details: DRUMARCHIVE.COM. The sign first appears in the catalog named "Rebound 2," where only power tom sizes are available. By "Rebound 3" and "Rebound 4," they are offering standard tom sizes.

I have a 12x8" in topaz, but am not looking to sell unfortunately.

I AM looking to trade a Signia 10x9" in topaz for the standard sized 10x8" in topaz, to match the rest of my kit. I would also straight up buy a 10x8" in topaz.

S***** - where are you located?

I knew a guy who was a Premier endorser who played Signias in the 90's.. his nickname was 's*****'.

Not considering selling at this time. The 12x8 is the best sounding rack tom, in my opinion. It stays set up while my 10" and 14" rack toms sit idle.

Maybe it's an unwelcome observation, but I think generally your Signia players tend to keep them rather than sell them to get something else.
