Dude is ill. He can tear up real drums, too. He'd be ill in a live hip hop band.

Inspiring XHIPHOP..
thanks..
just found this--

Toontrack Music proudly announces signing a long term endorsement agreement with musician extraordinaire David Haynes. David has played drums with the likes of Chaka Khan and Prince and has been attracting attention lately with his unique style of playing drums and percussion on a small form factor, pad based, MIDI controller. David will demo Toontrack products at the major trade shows in the year to come. First off is NAMM where David will be demoing EZdrummer and the EZX:s every hour at Toontrack Music's slot on the East West stand (6630 Hall A). Come down and check it out!

I thought I was half decent, but this guy is awesome. My finger-tap-recipient of choice is the Alesis HR-16:B (basically, the HR-16 with a different set of sounds). There must be something imminently playable about that Alesis.

I wanna know why David Hasselhoff shows up as related, though.

I saw the dude at NAMM. It was supernatural. Sick, I tell you. He has made his own row of pads at the top of an HR-16B that he uses to trigger DFHS. The dude played for like 8 hours straight every day (well, seemed like it). That was sick.
