Here for the gear
a True Mistery

Hey Guys,

I rewired an old MD421 70's model from top to bottom because it had both gound and hissing noises. all cables inside were rotten. it sound great again, accept for the fact that there now is some sort of flanging sound when I gain the mic and for some strange reason it disappears when I point in towards a very specific direction (and the opposite 180'') This has nothing to do with the other gear because I had tried it in a different room aswel.

What I tried to resolve the problem.
- rebuild another tuchel - XLR cable
- bypassed the filter

maybe you have an idea what this might be?
