I'm really happy to post this. We've got our own subforum for Dancefloor Music Production finally.

Let's discuss techniques and gear for ALL kinds of dance music here? Threads about synths and drum machines in general, let's keep those in the main forum. But a specific purpose such as "Patches on Roland JD-XA for Techno" is right at home here.

I'll be moving threads from the main forum in the coming days, weeks, if you see a thread that should be moved, but hasn't, chances are I missed it or didn't get to it yet. Shoot me a PM with the URL and I'll take care of it.

I'll keep this thread open for any suggestions or comments you might have.

I think it's better if we keep the threads about the specific groovebox or synth in the main forum, and discuss the use of it for various kinds of dance music production here. Yes, you're right, it's a sort of a grey area. But some grooveboxes, drum machines are also used by people who make very different music. Had to make a choice to keep it simple and managable, and this is it.
