Line/Stage box, time to rewire the room :(

Over the coming weeks I am going to be making a start on rewiring my room.
There isn't a lot I can do with regards to the electrical side of things, sadly, but there comes a time where the small amount of time I do get to write/record is being sucked up by chasing wires and getting frustrated with having cables running across the room.

So the plan is thus....

48-in 16-out line box on the one side of the room for all my drum machines and some synths, 24-in 8-out line box on the other side of the room for my synths.
10 Meter of multicore running from either side in to patchbays on one side of my desk.

I want to be able to finally make use of all the filter inputs and possibly be able to send clock/trigger signals to some of my synths/drum machines that have inputs on them and use those for processing, along with racked up outboard (Compressors, Eq, FX) this will all then go into the iMac via a Allen Heath qu32.

So basically I am attempting to work out the cheapest option of sorting the lineboxes, what cable?, what connectors? I can't afford to be getting them custom made so I have a feeling I will be having to do all the soldering myself (not a thought I cherish, but needs must n all that)

If anyone has any links to cheap but decent stereo/balanced jacks, stereo/balanced jack sockets, line boxes and such. So far it looks like the best option may be studio spares selection of line boxes which have two multicore holes for 24 core and 8 core multi. As for multicore itself, they do their own multicore which seems reasonably priced. As said, trying to keep the costs down as much as possible.

That's enough babbling, as you can tell I have been going round and round in circles looking for the best option which will be functional, efficient, decent enough quality and with the least runs of cables around the room. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.
If I get chance I will upload what I've found thus far to give you an idea of what the current build cost would be.

I recently did a custom installation where I used pre-punched 19-inch rack panels so that they were easier to position while soldering, flexible in arrangement, and easily exchanged for other types of connector banks if you change your mind. I buy all my cable, connectors, panels, etc. from https://www.redco.com/ because they have a good selection of parts and they specialize in audio cables, connectors, and accessories, etc.

I used "install-cable" to pull through the walls, etc because it is made for exactly that kind of application and it will make a difficult job so much easier.https://www.redco.com/Carol-E2102S-P...all-Cable.html

Cheers for the reply.

I ended up getting a few line boxes, about 160 trs jacks, 50mtr of multicore and a few days off to solder n rework the room.
