mogami 2549 wiring rca question

Hello,

I have read that the blue has been used as the + for the RCA connection and the clear as the -ve.

In the past with other brand diy cables i have attached the shield to the negative at the source end?

With the Mogami 2549, so i just attached the shield to the source end ( negative clear cable)? or both ends?

Its for the CD player,

I have made up my phono interconnect already with 2965 mogami cable.

Thank you

Lives for gear

Mogami 2549 is a nice XLR balanced interconnect cable. For a RCA cable chose a coax cable with a heavy braided shield.
