Mic Stand Thread Adapter STUCK

I have the Rode SMR shockmount for the NT1 and it comes with a thread adapter already in and I CANT GET IT OUT. I have used a coin with pliers until the coins bend, it is THAT stuck. It seems impossible to get out without some sort of power tool that may extremely damage the shockmount. PLEASE HELP

I would try using some penetrating oil on it.
And go down to the hardware store and find a beefy steel washer (or a gigantic flat screwdriver) to attempt turning it.
Coins are made from pretty flimsy metal.

Yes, some WD40 very carefully sprayed into the "gap" and possibly a couple gripper wrenches too should do it. Expect something to potentially be stripped in the process though...

This https://www.walmart.com/ip/The-Origi...yABEgKvrfD_BwE plus a large washer will take it out with no problem.

Or just leave it in there (to avoid possible damage) and "re-adapt" it with another adapter.
