Using a single cable of a dual RCA cable - any issues?

Hello, guys!

I have a simple and potentially ******** question: are there any theoretical problems in using just a single cable of a "2x rca-2x rca" cable, as if it was a single RCA (ignoring the other cable)?

The cable is one of those that cannot be separated; the two cables are threaded together.

Thank you

In likely 99.8% of all cases, no problem at all.
