Time Signature

I have a project with different time signatures and different tempo.
Is there a way to move midi items (part of the song) along with time signature/tempo markers?
It'd be hell having to move them all manually.
How do I select them along with items then move everything around?
Thanks.

Just zoom out and select all the items at once. Don't move them one at a time.

When I move them, time signature/tempo markers don't move along.
I can't select those markers.

Not sure I understand what you mean. I know that you can definitely click and drag time signature markers.

Of course.
I want to move them along with my items.
If I move a section of the song that has a bunch of them, I want them to move along with that section, I don't want to move them manually.
I can't select items and markers then move them together.
As an example, imagine there's a chorus that has a bunch of different time signatures (markers).
If I move the chorus, markers don't follow it.
So if I move it to a different part of the song, I'll have to move all its markers manually.
There's a button that makes envelopes (volume/pan) follow the items when we move them, maybe there's a button that makes the markers follow the items.

What I would try then is selecting all of your items, move them way past where your time signature change needs to happen, then move the time signature by itself, then drag your items back into the correct position.

You're really not understanding what I want.
I just wanna move a part of the song that has different time signatures but, when I move that part, the time signature markers don't move along with them.
Imagine having to move different parts of the song that have a ton of different time signatures then having to move a ton of markers (each one) manually.
Hell.

You can create a region that encompasses the items you want to move. To do so, create a time selection covering these items and then type Shift-R. Then you just have to move the region; all the items and the tempos/time signatures within that region will move together.

Hope that helps,
Marc

I was going to tell you to do this, but you should really be careful when moving entire regions. It will replace all of the items/track data in a certain area. Make sure you save first and keep an eye on the other tracks.

But I mean, how many time signature changes do you really have? You making math metal? If so, that's just part of making that style of music, imo.
