Synths (softsynths) takes MIDI data, not sounds (audio). The MIDI data triggers the synth and the synth produces the sound. You cannot run audio through soft synths, unless its the z3ta FX synth. If you have audio, then the audio needs to be ran through audio effects, not soft synths.
