Sonar sessions into other DAW

So I’m a lifelong Sonar user. I’m working on an album that I’m really proud of.. so much so that I’m considering having it mixed by a Grammy winner. How would YOU go about sending them a session when they most likely use Pro Tools? Am I screwed?

I’d like them to be able to load plugins and automation I’ve done.

it's unlikely that another mixer would want to use your plugins....but if your plugins and automation are good, he/she may start from there rather than from the raw track.

Simply export the stems with and without automation and FX. Cakewalk has a few simple options to select that from the Export Audio dialog box.

I just mixed a project for a customer who started his project in Protools. He sent me 3 versions of the stems - 1. Raw, 2. With Automation, 3. With Automation and FX.

Mostly I used the stems with automation and no FX, but I did use the others too for some things (e.g. lead guitar with FX sounded good when blended with the dry signal with my own FX)
