The new Wavetable Osc in the Grid is a great addition. The modulation flexibility immediately makes it one of my favorite wavetable 'synths'... plus it sounds really good.

the polymer "synth" is an UI for a poly grid, the next step will be that you can make a "device", that controls a poly grid patch.

now it is not possible to make your own patch.

but: in the poly grid the wavetable oscillator is a great addition,

using it in the poly grid makes it possible to make a chain of WTFX, using phasor with phase modules connected to the phase modulation input of the WT OSC.
turn off keytracking in the WT OSC.

i can explain it better, when there is some interest, the idea wasn't from me, but it makes perfect sense. the phase modules are great, don't see them in other soft modulars. makes me want to work in the poly grid for the first time.

it is beta 1 version, 3.3, there are still bugs. but it the update adds some more fun, and workflow (other stuff) to bitwig.

The wavetable Osc is improved nicely in Beta 4

indeed, you can hear it. a track that i made, sounds a bit different now, mainly because it were 2 poly grid patches, made myself, with in the "center" the wavetable OSC. no problem with it, the old version was rendered.. the new version sounds better..

it is improved, luckily, and of course; expected. bitwig developers know their stuff.
