Weird audio editing problem (Bitwig 1)

I'm on Bitwig 1 still.

So I recorded a couple of external synth parts. Each part has this weird zap of static at a certain point. I don't really see it in the waveform, but it's near a transient anyway. So I go to delete that part, and copy in a part from earlier in the waveform that doesn't have that anomaly. Only, when I copy the "good" part in, the zap sound comes back!

And if I delete that section with the zap altogether, there is no sound. I realized that it doesn't matter what I put in there, that zapping noise will come back at that exact time.

This has to be some type of bug, right?

mmmh looks like a bug.
can you repeat it with some other (completely different) audio file?
if you delete everything in the arrange except for this specific audio track, does it still happen?
does it happen in other (different) songs or just this one?

I've not noticed anything like that, but I jumped in at 2.0, so can't tell.
You could consider buying an upgrade plan. There's been a lot of bugfixes.
