703, Knauf, Ultratouch testing...

Since there doesn't seem to be a clear consensus on the difference in the absorptive capabilities of Ultratouch, especially for corner traps, I would like to do a comparison myself.

I have all three currently in hand (2" 703, 2" Knauf #3, and Ultratouch R19), I would just like some accurate guidance as to how I would go about doing accurate tests to compare their effects on low frequencies...

Should I simply place them between my microphone and left or right monitor and do individual tests with each insulation type - each layered at various thicknesses (closer to the microphone)?

I would like these tests to be interpreted by the pros on here (Avare, Glenn, Ethan, etc) if possible, so we can figure out once and for all whether the Ultratouch is viable alternative for bass trapping for the community.
