I have a situation where my ceiling slants from about 10.5’ to 7.5’. The drums are in the middle, so the ceiling slants overhead. Should I just go for a 4” panel from the ceiling, flat over the kit? Or slant it like the ceiling? I’m really hoping to tame highs more than anything else, but I’d love the room to stay lively. Thanks!

3" Roxul enough for early/first reflections?

Also applicable to recording spaces.

Is something like Owens Corning 703 the preferred material for a ceiling cloud?
