Soft material inside of helmholtz

I have understood that the q value of a helmholtz resonator will become less narrow with porous material inside.

Now I am woundering if the type of material does matter. To make the helmholtz work as good as possible. Will the density of the porous material change the function of the helmholtz for the better?
