Bass Trap Comparison - BBC -vs- Winer
Has anybody compared the 24"x24"x8" BBC A10 bass traps (using fluffy) against the 24" x 96" x 4" (using OC703) Ethan Winer bass traps ?
Hello acoustic experts! I am treating a 27' x 35' live jam room.
I have purchased materials for 15 broadband panels measuring 32" x 48". These will use 2 widths of 16" Safe & Sound (thus 32" , instead of the usual 24"), and they will be 2 layers thick, for a total of 6" thick. I will be hanging these 4" from the wall.
My second phase will be floor-to-ceiling corner traps: 24"x24" using pink fluffy.
My third phase will be bass traps - and thus my question:
Has anybody compared the 24"x24"x8" BBC A10 bass traps (using fluffy) against the 24" x 96" x 4" (using OC703) Ethan Winer bass traps ?
Any suggestions for a live band practice room?
Many thanks!
