Budget OC703 alternatives today?

I found some very old threads about this but some of those products dont seem to be available anymore and there may be new ones I dont know about...

Will very soon need to fill many cavities with 3lb rigid fiberglass or something like it . If I go with OC, I'm looking at about $1000 to get what I need (45 of 24x48x4 panels) , which I would absolutely looooove to reduce to a more palatable number if possible.

I'm in SoCal if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

Hi Andre! Mostly it's for inside-out walls made of 2x4s. The front third-to-half of the room is like this, hence the large coverage area.

Then a handful more more bass traps and a cloud.

Ask for the cheapest 3 lb/ft3 glass fiber and 4 lb/ft3 mineral wool. I do not know equivalent prices but Rockboard 40 and 60 are popular modern replacements.

Yeah I saw those. Looks like they might be up to $10 cheaper per package if I can find them. Thanks!
