2014 macbook pro+midi+11rack..anyone using this combo?

I'll try your suggestions! This exact setup worked with a 2012 so Im confused, thanks! I deleted preferences but didn't help..tried it with my old 002 rack and it works fine though! Must be some sort of USB issue?
