Can Protools 10 work proyects saved in a network hard disc?

In my studio people work with a master hard disc that is linked to all the computers(mac) I want to know if I would be able to write/create/open/edit a saved session in that network hard disc.

Yes, works great for mixing, especially with Disk Cache buffering the entire session, but I wouldn't rely on a network drive for recording.

we do this all the time since PT 10.

Recording depends on the speed of your network and nr of tracks you want to record. We've successfully played around with 5 - 6 tracks over a couple of minutes but in general you want to record to a locally attached drive.

Anything else ? Editing / mixing wise - sure - Load the session off the network - enable disk cache and off you go. Simple as that really. Doesn't strain the HD. Great for comping / editing / quick ref bounces etc etc
