prot tools 10 HD sound better than pro tools 9 HD?

wondering what people experiences are now it been our for a little while? does it actually sound better?

HD sounds like HD. There's no change to the mix engine this release... If you need any of the new workflow-oriented features, then it's great. If not, then you can likely wait...

If there's any change, it means the previous version wasn't adding 1 and 1 correctly. I don't think that was the case, so no, it should sound the same.

I thought HDX has a 64 bit mix buss. VS 48 in TDM with plug-ins truncated to 24 bit

That only makes a difference if you can't gain stage correctly and like to clip your mix buss - in which case, floating point is more forgiving.

If you actually know how to use your tools...no difference. As proved by the fact you can null mixes between TDM and non-TDM.

...and the original question was about PT 10 HD... HDX is different and isn't in the wild yet.
