Great pitch shift plugin for post sound

Hi All,

For years I've used WavesTune to help correct pitch differences between different source clips when creating/correcting bites for the reality TV shows I work with. While wavestune has done its job, it's always had its limitations. I'm hoping there's a better pitch plugin out there that's suited for post-production. Any of you have any plugin tricks up your sleeve that you're willing to share?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure of the exact scenario you're using this in; I mean for pitch detection and correction Melodyne is probably the best, but if you're just needing to move whole clips up and down in pitch by a specific amount, Waves Soundshifter beats Zynaptiq and Pitch 'n Time on most material to my ear. A bit more info about exactly what you're doing and you might get better input. If you're working with dialog, a tool like Revoice Pro might be more useful.

best,
rich
