1) Multiple Controller Lanes in the Piano Roll Editor

2) 99 Memory Locators (not markers)

3) Overlapping Markers

4) Set Anchor Point for Audio Regions directly on the Track Lane

5) Naming of Color Pallets (with the old color picker)

6) Pre-defined legato values, not only full legato (100ticks overlay, 50ticks gaps)

7) Key Commands for dedicated quantize values (off, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, etc)

8) EXS24 ... do I have to say more

9) Remodle the Environment, please don't let it die

10) Customizabel skins

Bug fix for the snapping issue.
New skins for all the old synths (especially ES2 and EXS24) and plugins.
Compatibility with Mountain Lion so I don't have to upgrade my OS.

Sample accurate recording of the MIDI out from software instruments.

Bug fixes. I'd pay for bug fixes. I know some will object to this one, but bugs cost me more time and inspiration than any lack of features.

I'd like more options on slicing mode, some kind of a "pre-attack" so you can define how early it cuts before the transient. Also at times I want to see whats going on in fades as I still get an annoying amount of pop's/clicks when editing drums. I've been using Logic to edit drums for a living for years and it really annoys me when these small things crop up. Occasionally I don't feel like its always maintaining phase coherency as well, I'm having to check things a lot. Recently I've started editing drums in PT and while it also has its problems (and theres a lot of stuff I miss that's SO straightforward in logic), I feel like what I'm seeing and what I'm hearing are always correlating. If I need to fix a fade I can see very quickly/easily what it is that needs sorting.

There's always going to be some kind of compromise with the way logic tried to tackle drum editing in such a manner that takes care of a lot of stuff "under the hood". It's just sometimes you want to know exactly what's going on.

I've noticed this too about Logic vs Protools. In Logic I always sort of cross my fingers that edits and such will work and keep working over the course of production. It seems like Logic has an aura of instability whereas Protools feels more stable and what you see is what you get.

1) Better GUI (I guess more like pro tools mixer and arrange window)

2) Better waveform display (I think Cubase has one of the nicest)

3) An option to see the slices when in slicing mode in flex time and have more options for the placement of the crossfades and be able to make manual adjustments.

4) Some type of auto "smart" beatmapping/ tempo detection when the audio was not recorded to a metronome

5) Flex Pitch to be better quality than Melodyne

I need to +10000000000 this.

If the Environment dies my system would be unworkable.

It'd have to be goodbye Logic for me if that ever happened.

yea clip gain handles, like in pro tools 10, u can adjust the volume of a waveform without affecting the main volume meter
hope that makes sense lol

You can do this in Logic already using the Region Inspector (as Edgar mentioned). And as of LPX 10.0.5, the region waveform now raises and lowers to show the change. Still though, I would like to see the region gain adjustment be within the region itself, and be in the form of a slider (like PT) or at least a bar like most others have.

I think what he means is being able to draw clip gain pretty much like volume automation.

1- A more efficient audio engine (more responsive).
2- Fix those automation issues (specially the one where parameters only follow automation when there is a change).
3- Better metering and if possible like Pro Tools 11 HD being able to choose between different meters.
4- Bypassing all plug-ins in one channel with one go.
5- Bypassing a chosen plug-in row on all channels.
6- Bypassing all EQs or Dynamics or Reverbs or Delays in one go.
7- Chord track like Cubase 7.
8- Fix Flex Pitch and if possible polyphonic.
9- Being able to use Flex Pitch and Flex time on the same region.
10- EXS24 upgrade and also add Redmatica features to it.
11- Update some plug-ins and add oscilloscope.
12- I know they won't do it but I prefer the Pro Tools 11 mixer GUI.
13- Update the Environment (very powerful but needs an urgent makeover).
14- Multiple Controller Lanes in the Piano Roll Editor like Edgar also mentioned.
15- Move channels also in the mixer tab.
16- Routing audio to different outputs at the same time without having to use the sends.
17- Talkback (I know it can be done but would prefer to have it without going through all the hoops).
18- monitoring section.
19- Side chain trigger from soft instrument tracks.
20- Being able to add plug-ins to freezed tracks and change parameters on those present without remove freeze and re-freezing.
21- Auto tempo match option for files added to the project.
22- Stack Tracks within track stacks.
23- Better File editor.
23- Add features from waveburner now that it's been discontinued.
24- Being able to record to another track without having to stop playback.
25- Drawing clip gain like volume automation.
26- Print plug-ins to regions.
27- Proper note expression.
28- Having a channel window like Touch OSC on the Logic Remote iPad App (you can control petty much anything including plug-ins).
29- Batch creating Apple Loops better than the Apple Loops Utility and also the possibility to do it from within Logic itself.
30- Plug-Ins organised by type and/or developer choice.
31- Soloing a track without having to also solo the side chain trigger track.
32- Phase-Aligning multiple tracks like Waves InPhase plug-in.

Memory Markers (that can be used live with logic remote)
Id like some sort of marker tab, that I can switch on the fly while listening to the song.
Gain handles on the actual regions instead of having to open a separate window. With a realtime waveform redraw. just like cubase
I wish the zoom tool was not so dang erratic. It zooms WAY too hard vertically, when all I want it to do is zoom horizontally.
