Flex time to conform to a constant tempo?

I'm using Logic Pro 9 to do this weird dubstep remix to duck and cover (the old civil defense kid's film) and the problem is, the song is not at a constant tempo. Is there a way I can use flex time to automatically conform the song to a single tempo?

Once you use flex, if the timing isn't automatically fixed (which it often does a good job of on its own), then just stretch the files to the correct tempo by top right corner dragging and they will conform no matter what tempo changes. So yes, basically.

So... how do I get the timing to automatically fix? (Sorry, I've never used flex time before)

You might start by reading up on it in the manual.

OK well I looked at the manual and It didn't really tell me anything I don't already know... I don't think I saw anything about using flex time to conform a audio file to a tempo automatically.

You quantize it. Page 400. Bear in mind that 1 quantize setting may not work for the whole audio file, so you might have to cut it into regions and assign different quantize settings.

And of course, always work from a copy.
