stop fx plugins loading when opening an instrument

hi all.
i've set up my plugins to load as favourites on the top level so i can access them quickly but sometimes audio fx show up when loading an instrument. i know they might be midi controlled fx but is there any way of stopping them from showing up when loading an instrument so my list is smaller?
thanks!

Is this what you are referring to?

"Show recent plug-in list in plug-in menu"

Not the recent items but when you go to load an instrument it displays delay and reverb plugins too. Probably the ones that are midi controlled fx.
I was asking if there is a way to not see these midi controlled fx in my top favourites list when loading an instrument on an instrument track.

there might be an easier way to do this, but I would load all of the instruments that I normally use, remove the plug ins, and then save that as a template. Then when you use the template you will just have your instruments with no plugs.
