WallCAT 8 - good solution?

Posted this in studio building forum, but got no answer. Thought I'd try here, hope that is OK.....

I'm looking to connect two buildings I have that are about 8 feet from each other. One will serve mainly as a control room, the other to record a single singer/songwriter. (so 4 XLR channels is fine, plus I would need minimum a way to get a single headphone feed back to the remote building)

If this works well, it would be an ideal, economical and easy solution - does anyone have any experience with this sort of product?

Thanks for any info
