I am a young and aspiring engineer based in Missoula, Montana. I am currently seeking collaboration with someone similar to me...i have gear, i do not have a room. I am also friends with a hollywood session musician who lives here too..there is not a fantastic mixing room in Missoula....yet
Missoula is a cool and hip city in western Montana jkthtyrt..I have developed a great reputation with many bands and musicians around town..anyways, i am good at tracking and mixing, always pay attention to level of detail concerning fidelity, tuning, timing.. heres what i have

fender amp plus some other stuff delays etc
i want to upgrade to using hardware inserts
i want to build a room and attract clients to the beautiful mountains of Montana...missoula has its own international airport, bed and breakfasts, dude ranchs, world class fly fishing, horse back riding, hiking, hunting etc. i would like to figure out accommodation and activity deals

Caveat Emptor in Los Angeles - Asbestos Studio

I was in this studio for about a month and had to leave after the landlord refused to acknowledge or remedy the asbestos floor tile I discovered (had it tested) while treating one of the rooms. There is a significant amount of asbestos tile encapsulated by carpet in this entire building, I discovered it removing the old funky carpet, it was loose broken and decaying. There also is a large amount in the tracking room that has been likely incorrectly removed then covered with carpet. lifting the carpet reveals left over black Mastic tile adhesive which is asbestos containing as well, and appears to have been abraded with a grinder in an attempt to remove it. According to a GS brother who is also an environmental consultant the asbestos fibers stay airborne for an extended period of time, so likely there is a significant amount of that floating around in there. Additionally there is no filter in the AC plenum so consider the ducts pretty severely contaminated (ac is non functional due to a coolant leak BTW). Dont consider this space unless you can get the landlords to perform an abatement and cleanup.

My girlfriend just left me because she thinks I'm in a relationship with another girl from Japan who's coming to LA to see me, but we have no relationship whatsoever.
I need to record the emotions going through me right now! like now!
I have the money... i need a world class facility, and I need no one in my way but an engineer who wants to throw up some mics and get bitching sounds!
I'll be on drums, and I'll be bringing a keyboardist. We need to be in the same room, and we need PAs, and it needs to be amazing.
If you have 2", a hammond organ and a leslie or 2, you're hired!

Share studio space in Southern New Hampshire?
Hey guys,
Looks like I'm going to lose my studio space at the end of the year. I've been in a sweetheart deal until now, so I can only complain about the timing.
Since I have to look for another space, I have been looking at a few places that are quite a bit more than what I pay now, so something has to give.
I'm looking for someone who wants to share a bit of space, perhaps use some of my studio gear, or even just needs a rehearsal space cheaper than what most places are charging. The specifics will need to be worked out, but right now I'm trying to judge interest in the type of arrangement in the Nashua, NH area. I'm trying to stay close to home to cut my commute time.
This could be a great opportunity for a freelance engineer, or a smaller studio to leverage a larger space and equipment.

I need a production space in London with a booth. I found some very good ones but unfortunately they are all taken.

The room should be fully treated and well maintained. Any ideas where to look?

Space wanted in Seattle
2 engineers with gear and one drummer need a space in Seattle. We're currently sharing a rehearsal spot, but it's unsuitable for recording. The 3 of us all work at a local software company.
I'm not exactly sure what Matt's(other engineer) got, but I've got an ARP 2600, Prophet 5, MKS890/MPG80, Pacifica preamp, Chandler LTD-1, Moog Voyager, Eventide H3000B, Lexicon PCM90, API 550B pair, 2-1176, Lynx Aurora 16, Rosetta 200, etc.
Kind of a long shot, but who knows. Maybe something will work out.
