Christian studio share wanted; willing to relocate
I'm interested in partnering with another Christian—or better yet, a group of Christians—for a studio rental and gear share. I am NOT interested in recording contemporary Christian music, nor catering only to Christian acts.
Please contact me if you: * have a facility I could come and record at. I will split the rent with you, perform on any recordings you want, and clean the tar out of your facilities (I am a master custodian).
* would like to find a property and launch a studio with me. The American Midwest is close to my heart, but I am willing to relocate anywhere in the world for the right opportunity. Even if you couldn't contribute financially, please get in touch with me.
About me: I am 28. I play drums and guitar pretty well. I have enough gear to produce some decent recordings, but most of it is low-end. I have a B.S. in technical writing. I have an ongoing interest in songwriting, acoustics, and making great recordings. I am willing to work full‐time at a day job to support a recording studio.
Please reach me at kevynosborn (at) jeemayle.

Looking for recording / mixing space in Dallas, TX
Our production company is looking for a new space to lease in Dallas, TX. The space will need to be professionally treated and wired with at least 200 sq ft control room and 300 sq ft live space large enough for drums. Ceilings should be at least 12ft. The bigger the better. No equipment is necessary, although any is welcomed. Budget is aprox. $1000+ / month. Any help or advice is appreciated. Feel free to call or email. bradley@promixengineer.com. Thanks.

Anyone in North London UK looking to build a place?
UPDATE: Ended up taking an already-fitted-out place... the studio build will have to wait for another day -------------------------------------------
OK so 2012 I think is going to see me finally build a place to make music in
I'm fed up of looking at soulless studio complexes with tiny overpriced rooms that barely have enough room for a computer/keyboard
Trying to see then if I can find a couple of people who might be considering building a place too, and then seeing if we might be able to club together and carve up a larger space, like >1000sq/ft
Hoping for a vibe that encourages using GEAR, and swapping instruments and mics etc... and a nice bit of banter, tea-making etc
Looking in and around Hackney, a place where there are plenty of areas undergoing regeneration/gentrification
If you think you might be interested, then please get in touch and we can throw some ideas back and forth
Or please chime in with any recommendations, thoughts etc, thanks!

(another) Los Angeles Studio Space WANTED
I am currently searching for an affordable room to keep my equipment/ engineer small writing session/ edit. I live in Santa Monica so a westside location would be preferred, but isn't necessary (I don't mind driving up to the valley). I have my own equipment, and would be sharing the room/ rent with my cowriter friend. Looking to spend under $1000/ month, preferably closer to $700. Doesn't have to be a big room!
If anyone has a studio similar to what I'm looking for, or knows anyone who does, please let me know!

Wanted: studio space in Bay Area, CA
I currently run Robot Envy Studio in Berkeley, CA, and have recently been looking for a space to relocate/upgrade the studio. Ideally I'd like to find a space in East Bay that is already built out as a studio, with a control room, live room, and 1 or 2 iso rooms. A fixer-upper type place is fine, as long as the structural aspects (walls, ceilings, etc.) and isolation are up to par. I may consider an open space which I can build a studio in, depending on the location. As for sq. footage, around 1000-1500 sq. ft. should be fine. My budget isn't nailed down yet, but I'd like to keep it under $2000/month.
I have found a few possible spaces through local listings, but it would be great to find something through a fellow gearslut.
If anybody has info a space, PM me or send an email to robotenvystudio@gmail.com
Thanks!
