Leases for two of our production rooms will be up starting in August/September so I'm starting to put out feelers. We are a somewhat newly established facility in Park Slope Brooklyn
Both rooms are fully treated and have professional HVAC.
One room is approximately 180 sq ft and has an attached shared booth. The other is approximately 250 sq ft with an 90 sq ft attached booth.
Rent is negotiable depending on usage (from lockout to a share) and if you use our equipment.

Studio Space in Highland Park, IL
My clientle has changed to the point that I no longer need this much space to operate, so, I'm moving out. This unit has been a recording studio since 1992. I took it over in 2004 and had a great run.
The space is about 1250 sq ft. It consists of a live room, control room, iso booth, an office (which I used as a B room) and two closets. Check out the website for photos:

The space is in an industrial area of Highland Park, IL. Highland Park is a very affluent suburb and is about 20 minutes north of Chicago.
Rent is VERY inexpensive for the area and it is right off a major expressway.
The unit is available July 1, 2012. If you are serious, I'll give you my landlords number.
I really hope this unit remains a studio. Some great albums were cut here along with more stories than I can count.

Toronto: Nights & Weekends Long Term Rent
My project studio is available for long term off-hours rental from beginning May 1, 2012. The studio is located downtown east in Toronto.
I usually try to schedule my sessions during the day, so the studio is available most evenings after 7pm and most weekends.
I'm looking for a professional engineer, composer, or producer who needs a great project studio in a commercial space for recording, composing or mixing their own material or for their own clients and who is looking for a long term arrangement, although I am also open to shorter term rentals.
I charge a flat monthly rate of $975 for the space and I guarantee that there will be at least 35 hours a week available between 7pm and 1am on weekdays and all day on Sat/Sun. In practice, there are usually many more hours available than that.
This arrangement works out to under $7/hr.
The arrangement has worked out very well in the past for engineers who have rented from me because it has allowed them to access a better level of client than they could working out of a home studio with limited gear.
The studio is in a brick & beam commercial loft building and is comprised of a well-treated control room and a good sized well-treated recording booth (I wouldn’t call it a “live room”, because it’s not “live”, but it is large enough to track drums or a string quartet in, and is great for overdubs - vocals, guitars, etc). There is also an additional suite with a MacPro 8 core and RME interface that is excellent as an additional overdub/editing/composing suite. There is also a shared lounge and kitchen area (there are 4 other studios/composer rooms in the facility). There is free parking available in the building's lot.

A Room: Protools 9HD running natively on MacPro 2.26 8 core (w/Lynx Aurora 16).
B Room: Protools 9, MacPro 2.26 8 Core (w/RME Fireface 400).
