Hi... I am looking for a reggae, dancehall, D'n'D emcee to cut a vocal. I can write the vocals and pay the equivalent of about 100 pounds or 150 USD but the track will only be a minute long and should only need 30-40ish seconds of vocals. The artist must have access to a decent recording chain. I'd like to hear an example of your work prior to going ahead with a session. A few online Skype chats should help us to collaborate. I work in Logic Pro, and Reason occasionally for its instruments, plus use various outboard gear and VSTs. Please find examples below to see if you think I'm a good fit for your music.
You simply send a stereo mix. It's helpful if you let me know the tempo. You can be as specific as you like in what you want, or leave lots of room for me to interpret. I send you an mp3 of your song with the new parts. Once we get something you like, I upload the full size files to my database and send you a link. You don't have to pay until we get something you like.
I currently live in Amherst, Mass. I'm glad to travel to your studio if you want to go that route. I enjoy it. It's easy to send parts back and forth, though.
