NYC-based studio looking for Producer/Engineer

Description: We need to expand our production capability and are looking for someone to help. The person we are looking for is a first-rate producer/engineer with good credits or some other equivalent accomplishments.

We would like someone to take over our "early evening until..." sessions; either finishing work started earlier in the day or starting new projects with new clients. This person will program beats, play instruments (or hire players), produce sessions and record vocals while making sure our clients feel excited and special throughout the process. This is not a remote gig.

We focus on Pop music. This ranges from completely programmed "Gaga Pop" to "all-live" songwriter pop. We also keep a foot in the club-music world (two top-five Dance Airplay hits in 2009). Your production style should include Pop and Club music with an Urban familiarity.

Our main producer/engineer has great credits and is recognized as a leader in the music industry. The ideal candidate would either be a producer/peer or a younger talent ready for the opportunity to work professionally without supervision. We have a private production suite in one of Manhattan's top recording complexes with first-rate equipment, great clients and skilled support staff. We do stellar work here and need someone to help us deal with the workflow.

If this sounds like a good fit for you, please send the following via email:

1) Resume / CV
2) Two best COMPLETED productions with vocals. We need to understand how you create music and craft a song. "Beats" without vocals or a "track" with a rap would not be acceptable.
3) Contact information

We are basing our first round of interviews on these submissions.

Thanks -
