help needed editing the timing of a drum track
I tracked guitar and vocals for a song and overdubbed drums.
The guitar and vocals speed up and slow down a bit (they weren't tracked to a click) and the overdubbed drums don't match up all that great.
I need some help getting the timing edited. I'm primarily a tape/console guy, and my editing skills are not the best.
The song is about 3 minutes long, folky tempo 4/4 time, simple drum pattern.
I'd prefer that the guitar/vocal track is not messed with, but if you can smooth out the timing and improve it that is ok.
i want to keep the natural feel, yet get the timing tight, and it needs to be a pro job.
You'll get 3 files, recorded at 44.1: 1 vocal + guitar 2 drums left 3 drums right
This might be a 15 minute job for an expert, but beware I insist that this track have a natural feel and might nickpick a bit!
Compensation $25 via paypal.

NYC-based studio looking for Producer/Engineer
We need to expand our production capability and are looking for someone to help. The person we are looking for is a first-rate producer/engineer with good credits or some other equivalent accomplishments.
We would like someone to take over our "early evening until..." sessions; either finishing work started earlier in the day or starting new projects with new clients. This person will program beats, play instruments (or hire players), produce sessions and record vocals while making sure our clients feel excited and special throughout the process. This is not a remote gig.
We focus on Pop music. This ranges from completely programmed "Gaga Pop" to "all-live" songwriter pop. We also keep a foot in the club-music world (two top-five Dance Airplay hits in 2009). Your production style should include Pop and Club music with an Urban familiarity.
Our main producer/engineer has great credits and is recognized as a leader in the music industry. The ideal candidate would either be a producer/peer or a younger talent ready for the opportunity to work professionally without supervision. We have a private production suite in one of Manhattan's top recording complexes with first-rate equipment, great clients and skilled support staff. We do stellar work here and need someone to help us deal with the workflow.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please send the following via email:
1) Resume / CV 2) Two best COMPLETED productions with vocals. We need to understand how you create music and craft a song. "Beats" without vocals or a "track" with a rap would not be acceptable. 3) Contact information
We are basing our first round of interviews on these submissions.
Thanks -
J Chris Griffin griffinstudioc@gmail.com

Game Dialogue editor needed
I'm about to start editing for a AAA game with a tight schedule and I need an experienced dialogue editor to help with the overflow.
Requirements: *NATIVE English speaker with experience editing english dialogue (game dialogue experience preferred) *must use a destructive editor (e.g.: audition, sound forge, peak, etc) since you'll be dealing with 300-700 files/day and editing on PT would take too long *having your own FTP site for uploads and downloads is preferred
I can't predict how much work this will turn into but it will be a solid AAA game credit for you.
If interested please send a resume/credits to: studioghost_at_hotmail.com
