Looking specifically for topline songwriters to write for TV/Film/Digital Media & up-and-coming artists. Session keyboardist required for ongoing work
Hi all
I am looking for a talented and versatile session keyboardist (online) that I can hire on an ongoing basis to provide high quality keyboard tracks for use in my songs. I would love to work with someone who is talented, enthusiastic, versatile and cooperative who is willing to forge an ongoing relationship. Everything from adding new parts, chords or melodies to existing songs, re-creating/improving upon existing tracks to creating new tracks from scratch based on specific instructions will be required. Someone with a good ear and appreciation for current sounding top 40 music will be ideal for this position and at the end of the process I would expect to receive all of the high quality WAV and midi files that were created.
Genres covered and play styles required will vary depending on the song I am working on but generally the work will fall under either hip hop (mainly piano and string parts), electro (mainly synth leads/bass/chords) or soundtrack (e.g trailer music - piano, strings & choir). If you are interested please contact me with examples of your work, your availability and your rates (specify whether you would like to be paid per hour or per project). I will most likely hire more than one person so anyone with the skills, hardware/soft synths/sample libraries and time is encouraged to apply.

Job Description:
As a tech at Bergsten, you will work in a fast paced, professional environment as lead engineer on
numerous projects throughout New England. You will be expected to adapt and learn new skills and be
able to trouble shoot on site. Excellent verbal communication and teamwork are a must. You will be
building shows from the ground up, interacting with customers, and other employees.
Job Requirements:
‐ Degree in audio engineering or equivalent industry experience
‐ Familiarity with the following products: Avid Venue, Yamaha M7CL, Yamaha PM5D, JBL Line
Array, Shure and Sennheiser In Ear and Wireless Mic Systems.
‐ Excellent knowledge of signal flow and on‐site show setup
‐ Able to lift heavy cases over 50 lbs.
‐ Must be comfortable driving trucks up to 26’ (CDL not required)
‐ Must be flexible to work irregular hours (nights and weekends included)
‐ Experience in lighting design a major plus
‐ Knowledge of backline instruments a plus

Roles and Responsibilities (include but not limited):
- Session preparation/Protools Session clean-up
⁃ Cleaning up toms and punch points (Importing session data and
organizing tracks).
- Bussing tracks internally to various Mix Busses
⁃ Sound replacing drums
⁃ Tuning Lead/Backing vocals (melodyne) on leads and background vocals.
⁃ Vocal editing (balancing, blending and cut-offs) Lead and Background.
⁃ Proficiency with Protools (fast and knowledgeable with quick keys)
⁃ Gain staging
⁃ Familiar with Protools 10 and previous legacy versions
⁃ Understands complex routing (ITB and Analog)
⁃ Tracking of performances (not limited to Vocals)
- Keeping up with session organization and latest overdubs and mix versions.

I operate out of a modest spot I have downtown as well as my home
studio and various commercial studios around town.
Chosen applicant will be trained in the ways I like things done (fast learner).
Main styles of music would be funk,soul,jazz,gospel and everything in
between. Experience with choirs a definite plus.
Ego maniacs need not apply.
Compensation based on a per song basis (the larger the project and
budget, the better the pay).
Transportation a must.

Bass re-amp needed
Hey there Gearslutz.
My band and I are in the middle of recording a 4 track EP. We are trying our best to keep things fairly top end, however we are having to ask for favours as our budget is extremely tight!
We are an indie/rock 4 piece from the UK, we're starting to gain attention from some major players and this EP could prove to be a big step forward for us.
Basically we have recorded bass for the EP with a 1972 US made Fender P Bass through an Avalon U5 DI, however we do not have access to a decent bass amp/rig. So, we were trying to find someone to re-amp the DI'd bass through an Ampeg SVT or similar, with a U47 or similar mic. We cannot offer any form of payment for doing this, but if you have the means to, we would be incredibly grateful for your time and would reward you with a credit on the final record!
